Are you looking for summer activities for your child?
We are providing a weekly outdoor social group!
Full time or overnight camps are not accessible to many children, but everyone deserves some time to get outside and make friends in the summertime. We will play various games and outdoor activities at different parks around Vancouver and Burnaby. As with all of our programs, we plan the program with specific participants in mind so exact activities will vary.
What makes your summer program different?
We offer a low staff-to-child ratio which increases the safety, proactive support and inclusion of each participant.
Our training has given us knowledge and skills to support children with different developmental trajectories individually and in groups.
How much is it?
$367 per month ($350 + 5% GST) for four 3-hour sessions.
AFU funding is accepted.
*An additional $5 will be added to cover additional administrative costs. Prepayment is required to confirm registration and participate in our programs. You will need to submit a request to pay form (RTP) to the autism funding unit, and we will reimburse you for the cost of the program once we receive funding access. Please let us know if this is a barrier.
What is your refund policy?
We require 2 weeks notice of cancellation to issue a full refund.* For any cancellation with less than 2 week’s notice, 50% will be refunded. Cancellations within 1 week or less, including no-shows, will not be eligible for a refund.
*All refunds are subject to a fee of $1.50 to account for the cost of the e-transfer.
Where is it?
We will meet at a variety of outdoor parks around Vancouver and Burnaby, such as Edmonds Park and Trout Lake Park.
Who can join?
Park Pals is open to children with a variety of support needs in kindergarten to grade 7. *
*Age range may be shortened depending on applicants.
